The Colombian company specializing in energy efficiency solutions, Azimut Energía, announced that it will launch a new private investment fund to promote energy transition projects.
Camilo Montoya and Santiago Uribe, co-founders, explained that the fund has $30 billion in capital in businesses already executed and seeks to raise an additional $150 billion.
«We will have financial models tailored to the needs of our customers, where savings will be responsible for paying for investments in technological replacement or clean energy generation. With these new financial products, companies will be able to find alternatives for their businesses to reach minimum energy consumption,» Montoya said.
